Summer Cocktail Recipe: Sunset Buck

Making its way into Los Angeles Magazine’s round up of drinks that must be experienced this summer, the Sunset Buck cocktail, and made with mezcal, fresh pineapple juice, and ginger, is just as refreshing as it is flavorful.

Flavor profile: smokey, balanced, with a ginger bite.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Mezcal
  • 0.5 oz Aperol
  • 1 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 0.5 oz Lime Juice
  • 0.75 oz Ginger Syrup
  • 2 Dashes of Peychaud Bitters

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients into a shaker
  2. Add ice
  3. Shake and strain over ice
  4. Top with club soda
